That's right; Santa brought her a trantula & she named her new Texas Brown Tarantula, Guess.
"What is your Tarantula’s name?"
"Guess"
"Ummm, I don't know Leo?"
"NO, Guess."
"Jack?"
"No, Guess."
"Come on, I don't know, I'm no good at guessing, what is his name?"
"Guess."
"I told you I don't want to guess anymore, tell me his name."
"I've been telling you his name, Guess, Guess is his name"
Bahahahaha....and Girl just laughs and laughs!!
Guess is about 1 year old, he has lots of hair on his bottom - this shows that he is a healthy and happy spider. Guess eats crickets, about 2 a week for now, as he grows he will eat more. Girl has a cage just for crickets. Guess will grow at least twice his size in years to come. Male tarantulas typically live 2-10 years. Females live 20-30 years. I hope Guess is a boy. We will find out what sex Guess is once he/she molts. I will take the molt to the guy at Chameleon Counters in Coppers Cove where he will sex the spider. I have a sneaky feeling this is where Santa bought Guess. I really hope to God that none of my kids ask Santa for a snake in years to come…
